Sharp corners and edges of furniture should be smoothly rounded-off, as these are sources of Shar Chi ( bad energy ). When you make new furniture, always make sure that all furniture is rectangular but with sith rounded corners and edges. Whenever possible also round off the exposed column and beam edges.
